HELLOOO FOODIES!!!! In lieu of Mardi Gras being this past week, I thought it was MOST important and necessary to talk about BEIGNETS!!!!!! I mean who doesn't go to New Orleans and not get Beignets! Unfortunately, I was not apart of those Mardi Gras festivities but I did in fact go to New Orleans about two weeks ago. And of course I had to stop over by CAFE DU MONDE and get a BEIGNET!!!!
So a little bit about New Orleans...I went on a trip for my friends birthday and we had an amazing time! I was lit drinking those grendades on Bourbon Street, eating great seafood, soaking up great weather, and to top it off eating tasty Beignets!!!! Everyone was telling me that I must stop at Cafe Du Monde. So that is just what I did! hahaha. These Beignets were soo good! Hot and fluffy and it had powder sugar to top it off. Surprisingly it wasn't sweet like a donut but the powder sugar complimented it pretty well to give that extra sweetness! I paired it with a nice cup of Au Lait which is traditionally served with these beignets which consist of coffee and hot milk. CAFE DU MONDE!!! This place is a New Orleans monumental cafe with tourist coming by to check out the Beignets which they only sale that and coffee so don't think you will be eating a meal. Also, be prepared to stand in line because the line was out of this world but little secret they are open 24/7 so if you are drunk on Bourbon St. you can just walk on down and have some beignets. So if you are ever in New Orleans you need to go by and check this out because you haven't had the real NEW ORLEANS experience if you haven't been. Check out the YELP page and Websites below. Also check out my Instagram page to keep track of the latest post.

IT'S PIZZA TIME!!!! -- Hello Foodie lovers! Today we are talking PIZZA! I mean who doesn't love Pizza!!
Actually, side note: I have met a few people that don't..SMH WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM!!! Anyways, One thing I love about pizza is that you can make all sorts of ways and it is always good! So, let me share with you probably one of the best pizzas I have ever had. *No Exaggerations* It's really good and I got it from a pizzeria down in Santa Monica, CA called Stella Barra Pizzeria! Before I go in to detail about the pizza let me tell you about this place! I love it! It's super cute and chill. I always end up sitting in the same spot over by the windows overlooking all the shops in the area. It's super cute and I LOVE cute restaurants! It's a place where you can go hang with your friends for drinks or sit and watch the latest games at the bar. It's very quaint and it even has a little bakery right next to it with some delicious goodies!! So now, LETS TALK FOOD. My very first time going I had the REALLY big watermelon alcoholic drink that I am not entirely sure what was in it but I also had this Chorizo pizza which was honestly to die for!! OMGG this Pizza was handmade with this light crunchy crust and it was topped with tomato sauce, chorizo, butternut squash, and a blend of various cheeses. It was AMAZING!! I was nervous about the butternut squash because I'm not that big of a fan but I am glad i got it! It really complimented the chorizo well. In any event this pizza is no longer on the menu but I have found that if you ask for it they can make it for you which is why I am telling you to be fancy and order 'off' of the menu, literally! hahaha!!! The chef's are extremely nice and so is the staff! They are truly there to make sure you have an enjoyable meal. So if you are in the Santa Monica area you should definitely stop by and try out this place. I have always found that they have a special featured pizza listed and I have tried a few and they are GREAT!!! So check out the yelp reviews and the website while you are at it! This place is worth going to trust me because I wouldn't steer you wrong and lets make all the non-pizza lovers, pizza lovers (hopefully that made sense) hahahaha!!! HAPPY EATINGG!!!! Hello my lovely foodies out there I have a fun treat to share with you today!! LETS TALK CRONUTS!!! One of my favorite spots to visit in LA is The Grove. It has great energy, nice shops, a little farmers market, and lets not forget...GREAT FOOD!! I mean what else can you ask for. Although I must admit it gets a little crowded. Especially in the summer because a lot of people have found out about this little area. It's totally worth it to go to though! So if you haven't been definitely check it out and you cannot...I mean CANNOT leave without stopping by Dominque Ansel Bakery for a CRONUT!!!!! So like I said before...LETS TALK CRONUT *insert cool sunglass emoji* hahahaha!! If you don't know what a CRONUT is I mean it's probably the best invention in the world. One thing about me is I love croissants. I mean love them!! Mainly the inside because its just so soft and buttery and flaky all at once! I mean I can go on and on about croissants hehe! but you know what's even better?!! DONUT + CROISSANT!!!!!!!!! OMGGGG!!!! Probably hands down one of the best things I have every tasted and you know where you can get this tasty treat?! Dominque Ansel Bakery!!!! The Cronut® Pastry is Chef Dominque Ansel's signature pastry. It's half croissant half donut I mean it can't get any better than this! Now let me tell you from experience the first 3 times I tried getting this Cronut they were sold out. I mean that's how good it is. I see people leaving with boxes of these things and it's always a line. The Cronut is so soft yet flaky. The inside is like a croissant with layers of buttery flaky goodness. I mean it's a must try! So be prepared to stand in line for this and maybe call ahead to see if they still have some left but it's a must go! I mean a MUST!! Don't let me find out you went to The Grove without stopping by. I will find you.........hahaha. What I also like about Dominique Ansel's are all the other fun little pastries they have their as well. So if you happen to go on a day where they ran out of Cronut's while you were waiting in line, don't get out the line try something else! I highly recommend the DKA which stands for “Dominique’s Kouign Amann”: It's flaky and tender bread with caramelized layers. Also, the Lime Me Up Tart which has this salt, sugar, and juniper mixture that you are supposed to flip onto the lime mousse and squeeze fresh lime over for an instant caramel. I mean COME ON!! Who think's of these things and it taste amazinggggggggg! So check out the website and yelp page below. This comes highly recommended and enjoy!!!
HELLO MY LOVELY FOODIES !! The Foodie Craze took a brief leave of absence but let me tell you it's back and it is BETTER!! I have been around the world and back since we last spoke. Just a brief update: I went to 8 countries in Europe, Mexico, back to Europe, and have plans of visiting the Dominican Republic next. So if you have been wondering about me and getting a little worried, let me tell you, I am back and I have some GREAT food to share with you!! So let's talk food!!! If you guys have never been to Malibu, CA then you need to visit. I mean who doesn't want to be on the beaches of CALIFORNIA!!! So, I am a new resident of California and one of my favorite spots to brunch at is MALIBU FARMS PIER CAFE!! It's a very nice and scenic restaurant with of course some AMAZING...I MEAN AMMMAAZZINGG FOOD!!! Let me tell you about this dish I had here. I am a super fan of bread pudding which is why this dish I had just warms my little tummy for sure!! The first time I visited I had the Coconut Baked French Toast Bread Pudding!!!!! I don't think you guys fully grasped what I just said so let me say it again......the COCONUT BAKED FRENCH TOAST BREAD PUDDING!!! OMMGGGGGG!! This dish was perfect in so many ways. Very light and fluffy. The berries and fresh whipped cream complimented the dish very well! I also want to add that it wasn't too sweet at all! You know by looking at it and looking at the name you automatically think.."wow that's probably really sweet" but looks can be deceiving....It was actually just the perfect amount of sweetness! I topped my dish off with a Mimosa of course because you can't go to brunch without getting a Mimosa I mean COME ON!! So if you are ever driving in Malibu on Pacific Coast Hwy I would stop by Malibu Farms! IT'S A MUST and great for some photo ops I must add!!! Definitely check out the YELP page and the Website below of Malibu Farms. You will not regret it!!! WEBSITE LINK: www.malibu-farm.com/malibu-pier/cafe-menu
YELP LINK: https://www.yelp.com/biz/malibu-farm-pier-cafe-malibu WHAT'S UP Y'ALL!! Let's Talk SUSHI!!! I know you guys know how much I love love sushi. I mean I love a lot of food but sushi has a special place in my heart! You know what else has a special place in my heart? LAS VEGAS!!! Sushi + Las Vegas = AWESOME!!!! (Like my equation there? LOL) So, let me tell you something. You can't just role up to Las Vegas with your shades on going to any Sushi place around. You have to stroll on down to the end of the strip and go to the Luxor Hotel. The Luxor is the big black pyramid you can't miss it! I went to this Asian Fusion restaurant that was really fancy. It was called Rice and Company. Here as you can see, I had the best sushi of my life. No exaggerations! It was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I originally just ordered for the name, "Sexy Lady." I mean who wouldn't order it for the name. This roll, like I said was the best. Inside it contained: king crab, seaweed salad, avocado, spicy tuna, eel, tempura crunch. Topped with, friend parsnip, micro cilantro, samba mayo!!!!!! PARTY IN YOUR MOUTH!!! Let me repeat that! PARRRTAYYYY IN YOUURR MOUTHH!! The taste is literally still in my mouth. Every flavor, every crunch!!! I honestly want to go back right now. I think I probably will go back soon and when I go you guys should definitely COME WITH! So let me finish telling you about my meal. On top of the super awesome sushi, I had a side of fried rice. This fried race was impeccable! I mean when you go to the Rice and Company you have to try the rice, right? I did and it was really good. Then I had a cute little Chardonnay to top everything off and I had a Hot Sake because you can never drink TOO much in Vegas! So, when you are in Las Vegas you must go to the Luxor Hotel and stop by the Rice & Company. Also, I will be on the west coast a lot for this summer. Mainly in LAS VEGAS!! So, stay tuned for more amazing place to come. I will drop off the Rice & Company website. Check out the Menu. You won't regret it I promise!!
Let's take a journey to Europe! IT'S WAFFLE TIME!!! I mean waffles are the best thing ever! I can't stress that enough!!! It is one of my go to breakfast options but I didn't have this specific waffle for breakfast! I mean when you are in Brussels, Belgium it's WAFFLE TIME every day ALLLLL day! Let me tell you about Maison Dandoy! I mean have you ever been to Brussels because if you haven't you must add it to your bucket list or your travel list or whatever list that is going to get you there the fastest! The art and the exhibits and the Belgian culture is amazing. And you can't forget about the Belgian Beer, Chocolate and most importantly the Belgian Waffles! This was on the next level of waffles. When I went to Brussels I discovered that there are two types of waffles a regular waffle and then there is the liege waffle (founded in Liege Belgium). This right here is a Liege waffle! This waffle changed my life, changed my views on waffles and if you can find a liege waffle in the U.S. please let me know!!!!! What is a liege waffle? Let me tell you! Liege waffles are perfectly cooked waffles with crystalized sugar embedded in the batter!! I said CRYSTALIZED SUGAR EMBEDDED WAFFLES!!! Honestly, it doesn't get better than that! At Maison Dandy. This little shop will seem like a little chocolate shop which it is but if you go upstairs there's a nice little tea room that holds the magic key! I got the caramel liege waffle with a nice cup of coffee on the side! Best combination EVER! I felt very very FANCY sitting in a little tea room having the best waffle of my life! Hahaha! This waffle was light and fluffy and perfectly sweet. The caramel sauce was thin and smooth which made it the perfect balance with the waffle. Maison Dandoy has a perfect way of balancing the level of sweetness so that it is not overbearing! Can I just say PERFECTION!!!! If you are ever in Brussels, Belgium over by Rue Charles street, go to Maison Dandoy. Take a seat upstairs and enjoy the experience of a lifetime. I know for me, this was an experience of a lifetime and probably the best waffle I have had! I will drop the link below and please please check out the website! Warning, The website doesn't have a menu of the waffles but its definitely nice to check into. Plan a trip to Brussels!
Heyyyyy!!! So I know it has been awhile but life happened. The good news is that I am back for good and the food just got BETTER!!!!! I call this Foodie Craze 2.0. New look, new food, and more! So get ready and bulk up because I will be hitting you guys with the best of the best! Which brings me to LUKE'S LOBSTER BAY SHAKE!!!!!! This place was recommended to me by a guy that really knows his food! I must say this was the best Lobster Roll and Clam Chowder I have ever had! If you are ever in Boston you have to go over by MIT's Campus and check out this place. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices, and GREAT ROLLS!!!!! Guyyyysssss let me tell you about this lobster roll! First off, the lobster was incredibly fresh. I mean it was great quality lobster and then the seasonings were out this world. Now Luke's wouldn't say what was in the seasoning but that is what makes it so great! TOP SECRET SEASONING is always the best! It reminds me of Spongebob at the Crusty Krab where they had the secret formula! Do you guys know what I am talking about? I mean you better because if you haven't watched spongebob I mean WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WATCHING ALL THIS TIME!!!!! So, I am totally getting off topic! Back to the LOBSTER ROLL! :) Guys the lobster was incredible and what really topped it off was the soft warm bun! That bread was ridiculously good! It must of been fresh made and they MUST tell me where they got it from! I mean COME ON! And I didn't forget about the Clam Chowder! I mean rule #1 you can't go to Boston, MA without getting some kind of New England style clam chowder. This bowl of soup was so comforting. It taste like it was made with love and I am BIG on things made with love! The clam chowder had a lot of clams in it with every spoon full, which in my opinion I believe that is the most important thing. You need to be able to enjoy the potatoes and the clams and the sauce in every single bite! This is what Luke's did a great job at! So if you are ever in the Boston area, which I might add is one of my favorite cities, you MUST go to Luke's Lobster Bay Shake! I will drop the link below so you guys can check out the menu! Once again, I apologize for being M.I.A. but I am back! So STAY TUNED! :)
Hey my lovely people!! I know you guys have missed me because I have missed you guys! I honestly want to apologize for being M.I.A for like a month! BUT!!!!! I have some exciting exciting news! I went to Europe!!!!!!! That is where I have been all this time. So I went on a European tour to 7 countries and 13 cities and the wifi was terrible there! Hahaha! I couldn't post anything but let me tell you! I went to great great places to eat! Have you ever been to Bruges, Belgium? Well if you haven't it's a must must go! I am in love with the cute little town! It was perfect! I think I may get a vacation home there because it's so perfect! But ANYWAYS let's focus on the FOOD! My favorite topic in the world and the food here was amazing! Expensive...but AMAZING! I definitely believe this was one of my best meals on my European tour. So if you go to Bruges you have to go to the market 9 square area. It was the cutest and they had too many food places to chose from! I literally was overwhelmed! OVERWHELMED! But I decided to eat at the De Vier Winden. Best decision ever! Let me tell you, this place had the best waiter. He was so helpful and great and then I had a really great dish. LAMB CHOPS!!!! Yummy yummy lamb chops. I'm literally like sitting here thinking about those lamb chops because I think those were the best lamb chops I have ever hand. They were perfectly cooked and the taste just melted in my mouth to the perfect perfect perfection! Then on top of that it was served with this salad in the middle. Sometimes you know the salad isn't all that when you order it with an entree but this salad was so good! It had sweet bell peppers, tomatoes, and onions topped with this special house vinaigrette. It just complimented the lamb chops so well! I seriously need to go back to Bruges! It makes me sad thinking about how far it is because I wish I could go back right now at this second and eat it all over again. Anyways, if you are ever in Bruges or are planning a trip to Bruges in the future stop by the market 9 square area and go to De Vier Winden. It changed my life. I would advise you to eat indoors because it was a lot of little flies and stuff outside but I guess its just a preference thing. I will attach the yelp link so you guys can check it out and get the address! I still can just picture it in my mouth right now!! OMG!! But stay tuned for more great restaurants I went to over Europe! I will be dropping a new place each week from all over. From Paris to Italy to more of Brussels. You don't want to miss this.
Hey Guys!! It's been a few weeks since I have posted something but I am back and the food is better!! Have you ever been to Scottsdale, AZ?! Well if you haven't its a must go. Every time I hear about Phoenix I hear about Scottsdale! Its a nice upscale CUTE area with a ton of great amazing shops and of course great restaurants. With that being said, Stingray Sushi is a must go! They have two locations. One in Scottsdale and one in Chandler, AZ. As you can see in my picture I did not get a picture of the sushi. It was way too dark in there and I felt like the tacos were a better pic! Which brings me to how diverse they are with their menu. They had a sushi bar with a ton of sushi options and speciality rolls that were AMAZING but then they had a regular menu with tacos, noodles, and bento boxes. During my visit at Stingray I ordered the Fire Dragon Roll which was unagi, crab mix, cumber topped with spicy tuna and unagi sauce. This truly was amazing! You guys know that I am IN LOVE with Sushi and it is a fine line between just okay sushi and AMAZING sushi and this one was AMAZING! On top of the sushi I had calamari and tacos that are in the picture and to top it off I had a glass white wine (to be fancy LOL). The tacos are definitely as good as they look! The first taco was a Rock Shrimp Taco which has crispy shrimp with cabbage, pico de gallo, and spicy aioli all wrapped up in a warm tortilla. The second taco was the Crispy Fish Taco with cabbage, pico, pickled onions, salsa verde all wrapped in a warm tortilla. These two tacos were a good choice to go with the sushi. I think its always good to try something out of the ordinary when you go to certain restaurants because it is a reason why it is on the menu in the first place! I made a good choice with this meal. If you guys are ever in Scottsdale go down to Stingray Sushi. I will attach the link so you can check out the website and the menu on your own. It is a must try.
YUMMY YUMMY DOUGHNUTS!!! Well before I tell you about these doughnuts lets just acknowledge the fact that doughnuts are amazing! It's one of those things that you just dream about eating forever and ever!! Especially these doughnuts from Sublime Doughnuts. I want to take you from the west side and go on over to the east side of the U.S. to the great city of Atlanta, Ga A.K.A my hometown so I may be a little bias Lol!! Atlanta is kind of like Los Angeles without the beach! It's growing fast, has great people, great atmosphere, and of course GREAT FOOD!! Anyways, Sublime Doughnuts has two locations in Atlanta. One is right by the GA Tech campus and the other is off of North Druid Hills. If you have never been to Atlanta I'm sure your GPS can quickly find these locations. The doughnuts are PERFECTION! When I went to Sublime, I got two doughnuts which I normally get two doughnuts everywhere cause you know the third can sometimes hurt your tummy hahaha! I got the butter toffee doughnut which was so good. It was a soft melt in your mouth kind of doughnut topped with chocolate and little toffee pieces which is in the picture! Those are not nuts those are toffee pieces! TOFFEE PIECES *insert heart eye emoji* Lol!! It was unexplainably good! My second doughnut was the caramel apple fritter! So it is more of a fritter but it was amazing. Just based solely on the name! This caramel apple fritter was very soft in every bite. Once you bit into this fritter it had a cinnamon apple filling inside and to top it off it had a caramel sauce drizzled on the top! PARTY IN MY MOUTH!!! Sublime Doughnuts is a must go! They have so many flavors to choose from. Please go to Atlanta because its an awesome place to be but while you are down there go to Sublime Doughnuts! You will not regret it at all! I will attach the website so you can see all the different doughnuts and flavors of goodness!!!!!! Website: http://www.sublimedoughnuts.com
Guys I am wrapping up my trip from Los Angeles and of course I had to stop and get some really good SUSHI!!!! You know why?? Because sushi is the absolute best!! So, I went over to Marina Del Ray, CA and stopped by Moto Azabu Sushi Bar and Grill! Let me tell you this place was awesome! I mean it has a five star review on yelp! Nobody can complain hahaha! But seriously! You can have the option to eat at the sushi bar area or in the grill type setting. I chose to sit at the sushi bar and it was a great experience! The sushi chefs were so nice! They would make jokes and make you smile! They served you right away and put love and effort into each roll. I had the Super California Roll. I wanted to keep it simple but not too simple. This roll was a califonia roll and on top was eel and a drizzle of eel sauce to top it off! This was the best sushi I have ever had. I mean it was amazing! The sushi was incredibly fresh, it had no fishy taste too it, and it was smooth and perfect. I definitely believe that Moto Azabu deserves five stars! It is a must go when you are down in Los Angeles. I will attach the website so you guys can check it out! It was a great experience! Must must try, especially if you are in search for the best sushi EVER!!! Website: http://motoazabusushi.com
It's Memorial Day!!!! You know what would make this day even better ICE CREAM!!! So, I'm still in California but I drove on down to Manhattan Beach in LA!!! This place literally was the cutest little beach I have ever seen!! They had a street leading to the beach with stores and amazing little restaurants and bars! I can't even describe how nice it was! But back to the ice cream! The only place that had a huge line outside the door was Manhattan Beach Creamery and it was totally worth the wait! They had all kinds of desserts! Cupcakes, mini cupcakes, macarons, cookies, ice cream sandwiches, and of course ice cream!! I couldn't decide what I wanted. The strawberry shortcake ice cream sandwich, which was 2 sugar cookies with strawberry ice cream in between or the cookies 'n cream ice cream on a sugar cone! I went ahead and got the cookies 'n cream but I'm still thinking about that ice cream sandwich! Either way I made a really good choice! Oreos in every bite or I should say lick and it was creamy and perfect! I definitely can't wait to go back and have more and more! I'm glad I don't live there because I probably would just try every ice cream flavor every day and then repeat after I went through all of them!! If you are ever in the Los Angeles area go check out Manhattan Beach Creamery! I would never steer you wrong haha! I will attach the website so you guys can check it out! It's delicious!!! WEBSITE: http://www.mbcreamery.com
Breakfast is back and it's better!!! I love the west coast and my favorite place to be is Los Angeles, CA!! It has great places to shop, the beach, celebs, beautiful people, and of course, my favorite, FOOD!!! It has everything you can want and more! After my morning walk/run (more walking) in Baldwin Hills, I headed straight to get some breakfast because I was HUNGRY!!!! I head on down to Sunset Boulevard to The Waffle!!! Let me tell you guys, this was absolutely the best waffle I have ever had and I'm not just saying that! I ordered half of the Strawberry Shortcake Waffle which was a strawberry waffle (the batter was strawberry) and it was topped with a strawberry cream cheese frosting, fresh strawberries, and powdered sugar with a side of strawberry syrup!!!! GUYYSSSSS!!!!!! This waffle sounds good and then you eat it and it's even BETTER! It literally was a party in my mouth!! It was so good and I really should of got a whole waffle instead of a half! I ate it way too fast! Then to top it off I had a side of bacon, eggs, and country potatoes! IT WAS SOOOOOOO AMAZING!! So if you are ever in the Los Angeles area stop by The Waffle! The menu had so many great options like red velvet waffles and waffle sandwiches! I will attach the menu so you guys can check it out but it's a must go! WEBSITE: http://thewafflehollywood.com
So I am on the west coast this summer! Phoenix, AZ to be exact! So most of the food will be from the west coast for awhile!! Which the west coast is the best side ever! Especially the food!!!! I get so overwhelmed by all of the amazing restaurants around! Which brings me to Peoria, AZ!!!! So you know Arizona has really good Mexican food!! You can find tacos for super cheap and they are authentic and amazing!!! I went to Brushfire Tacos y Tapas! This place was so good! It's a little small restaurant with a drive thru and you can also walk up and order! They have a cute sitting area with mist coming down to keep everyone cool on a hot day! And trust me this is a plus because it gets over 100 degrees in Arizona (which is just crazy)! Ok so back to the FOOD!!! I had two tacos and an empanada! The first taco was a pork taco with pineapples, pico, and cheese. The second taco was a shrimp taco with slaw, pico, red potatoes, onions, and cheese! Then to top it off I had the empanada, which if you don't know is a pastry dough filled with chicken and veggies with a side of spicy mayo to dip it in! OMGGG!!!!!!! All this was sooooo good! The flavors of each taco were to die for! They kept it simple and amazingly tasty! Everything on the menu looked good which made it hard for me to decide what I wanted!! I will definitely be going back to maybe try there chorizo burritos and their other tapas that they have to offer!!! It's definitely a must to go! Check it out if you are ever in the Phoenix Area! I will share the link with you guys to check out the menu and please stop by! It is a must try! Website: http://www.brushfiretacos.com
Lets talk Asian Food! It's absolutely one of my favorites. Especially CURRY!! Let me tell you about this place. Have you ever been to Alabama?? Well if you haven't you must go check it out. Beautiful scenery and nice warm friendly people with the southern hospitality! You can find this dish at Wasabi Sushi and Thai located in Opelika, AL which is about 20 minutes from Auburn University! This cute little restaurant had it all and it was great!! I had red chicken curry! Curry is one of my favorites as I mentioned before and I just feel like you can't go wrong. They went over and above with taste! This red curry was made with coconut milk and had the perfect blend of spices. The white rice on the side definitely brought the dish all together! If you are ever in the area you should go down to Opelika, AL and try Wasabi! It's great! I will attach the link to the restaurant website so you guys can check out the menu and see what it has to offer! Website: http://www.wasabiauburnopelika.com
Lets talk DESSERT!!! This is one of my favorite desserts from the Buckhead Diner in Atlanta, GA. Since Atlanta is my hometown I feel like it is my duty to let the people know all about the best places to eat at while in town! The Buckhead Diner is one of them! So let me tell you about my experience here! My best friend decided that he is hungry at 10:30pm and we hop in the car and drive to the Buckhead Diner which closes at 11pm. SMH! I didn't want anything to eat but he got the fish and chips which looked AMAZING and tasted AMAZING because I tried some! :) Haha. But I decided to get a Dessert!! Good and smart decision at 10:40pm. I look at the Dessert menu and I was blown away! I couldn't decide what to get. Everything I read on the menu was just perfect, from their White Chocolate Banana Cream Pie to their Peaches and Cream Custard. I finally decided on the Coffee Cake! Let me tell you about this Coffee Cake. It was the perfect size for me to eat. It was warm and sweet but not too sweet. The cake literally melted in my mouth with every bite and what made it even better was the cinnamon ice cream on the side with the caramel around it. I was floating! I could actually eat that cake for the rest of my life and be satisfied!! I believe that the Buckhead Diner likes to switch up there menu every now and them but hopefully when you guys go they will have it! It was one of the best desserts I have had! So, when you are in Atlanta you must take a trip to the Bulkhead Diner. If its early in the morning or if its late at night, they welcome you with open arms and you will walk out satisfied.
SUSHI!!!!!!! Sushi is ultimately the best dish EVER! Words can't describe my love for it. I was a little skeptical about eating raw fish in the beginning. I still don't really care for the big chunks of raw fish in some of the sushi options. I realized that you can't just order from any old place if you want the good raw fish. But you can definitely trust Prime Restaurant!! Unfortunately this is the only place that I will be writing about that just closed down it's business. Which is the worst because this was one of the best! THE BEST! Sushi places I discovered. It's definitely in the top 10. Prime Restaurant was located in Atlanta, GA in Lenox Mall (my favorite mall ever). Maybe you guys can send a bunch of emails asking them to reopen. Its literally just an empty space where it use to be :( it's so sad but back to this sushi. I ordered two rolls and I shared it with my best friend. The first roll was a shrimp tempura roll with smoked salmon and avocado on the top with a teriyaki sauce drizzled on top. YUMMM!!! The second roll was just a regular California roll but with avocado, mango, a spicy mayo sauce, and then the caviar on the top. This second roll was literally amazing. They turned the simple California roll into HEAVEN!!! I may need to start a petition to have them reopen or at least for me to just get a million orders of this roll. Both rolls were great and fresh! Fresh is one of the major things you want in purchasing Sushi and they sure nailed it! I will attach there website and maybe they will have contact information to petition for a reopening (crossing my fingers). I'm sorry you guys won't be able to taste this greatness! Website: http://h2sr.com/prime/
Lets talk BREAKFAST! As it's 9pm on a Friday night in Syracuse, NY, I am still thinking about the breakfast I had this morning. If you are ever in Upstate New York you must come through Syracuse. It is a MUST! The people are fun, the campus of Syracuse University is Amazing and the Restaurants are to die for! Which brings me to Mother's Cupboard. Guys! Let me give you a little warning before you show up at this place. It looks like a little hole in the wall and kind of sketchy. You don't know if you should stay or drive off super fast. but STAY! It is a small little diner and sometimes the wait can be 2 hours long but people wait for a reason. I went there for the first time today to see what the "hype" was about and it was delicious. First off the Pancakes are HUGE!!!! If you compared a regular size pancake it would be 1/4 the size of a Mother's Cupboard pancake. It was huge! I could not finish at all. You can get chocolate chips in it or blueberries. I got the blueberry pancakes and a side of eggs. Have you ever taken home your food from breakfast? Well it's very rare for me to do that but I absolutely had to today. But the overall taste was good! I will say that they could of cooked the pancake for a bit longer but it was still well worth it. They also had the home fries, bacon, biscuits, waffles, etc. You name it and they seemed to have it. My eggs were great and I will be going back soon. P.S. W. H. STILES FISH CAMP is located in Atlanta, GA. My home town. This new shopping center, Ponce City Market off of Ponce De Leon Ave. is amazing! They have cute little shops and the food court is not your typical food court. But Any who...W.H. Stiles Fish Camp is a wonderful seafood restaurant that's famous for their oysters. They literally give you a menu with like different oysters and they tell you the location of where they caught them from. I have never had oysters raw before and I was not about to try them at first. I originally ordered this fish sandwich that was amazing By the way!! But I told the waitress that I never had oysters so complements of the chef he brought me out a few. I was a bit nervous to try them but I did anyways. YOLO! The big ones were the first that I tried. I have a little mouth so it was just too much for me. You have to slurp them up and it was super slimy but they had a little lemon butter on the side that helped with the taste. I just personally feel that the big oysters were for like a man's mouth LOL. That's just me though. But then I tried the smaller ones with the lemon butter and they fit perfect in my mouth and tasted GREAT. It was fresh and light and smooth. I would definitely try it again. The little ones are more expensive they were $5 each where the big ones were like $3 each so I don't know. I must have expensive taste. Overall, W.H. Stiles Fish Camp was AMAZING!! I cannot wait until I am back in town to go eat there again!
